Between 1983 and 1987, the Fifth Brigade — acting on orders from the ZANU-PF government — massacred between 20,000 and 80,000 Ndebele civilians. Emmerson Mnangagwa was State Security Minister. There has been no accountability, no justice, and no official recognition. This category exists because memory is resistance. Gukurahundi must be named, documented, and brought before international justice.
